What an amazing wedding, a celebration of tradition and colors at this past weekend at the Marriott in Raleigh, NC. Mini and Avaneesh have been an amazing birds and groom. Thank you Otto for bringing me along! It was truly and lot of fun to work with such talent.

Here are some of my favorite photos of the last 5 years. Of course it’s not complete there was much more. I just want to share my love for this venue.

That was a lot of fun, so colorful and to work with so much talent: Day 2 at the Denver Fashion weekend. I was with the team of  303 Magazine’s Makeup Artist of  the year Becky Laschansky. It was stunning to see the conversion  of the two models to a dragon fly girl and a butterfly girl. Long time before the first guest arrived at the Enver Exdo Hall for day 2 of the  303 Denver Fashion Weekend show, it took these seven artists almost 6 hours to create perfect art on the 2 models bodies.

Day one at 303 Magazine’s Denver Fashion Weekend with names like Scruples, Charlie Price, Antione du Chez and Marie-Margot Bridal Couture on the runway. Day one of the three day event kicked off last night at The Hall at Exdo Center in downtown Denver to a nearly sold out crowd of the who’s who in the Denver fashion scene. The wedding season is just around the corner and here are some wedding gowns that might be seen at one of the weddings this year.

I was invited by my dear friends Maggie Burns, Marie -Margot Bridal Couture  and Becky Laschanzky, award winner for 303 Magazine’s Makeup Artist of The Year 2012, to document their appearance at the DFW.

Here is just one frame from last nights runway presentation, it is the quiet before the storm in back of the runway.

The 2012 honorees reflect those that have demonstrated a superior quality of work for their customers, and those that have used Two Bright Lights’ online platform to quickly and easily get published by submitting their authentic, stunning imagery and services directly to the top industry publications and editors.

Among thousands of photographers and vendors competing for publication, the Editors’ Choice winners represent the best-of-the-best.

It is absolutely gorgeous inside and out and I felt really honored to be invited to this inaugural shoot. Together with my friends and very talented Colorado photographers John Hudetz,  Kent Meireis and Sean Cayton, it was exciting to shoot at this venue for the very first time. We all knew everything we photographed had never been shot before at this venue. We discovered interesting angles and new locations and dramatic light situations inside and outside of the church. It was very motivational for all of us.

Sandy Vanderstoep, owner of Garden of the Gods Gourmet, renovated the church and returned it to its proper place as an incredible 2,000 sq. ft. space for weddings and events. I hope this venue will see may weddings in the future.
