Oumo is getting ready for for the next photo. One earing needs to be fixed. Sometimes it’s worth it to not set the camera down and look for the right moment.

The engagement shoot with Mary and Alex was all about cooling off; the temperature was way pass warm, it was HOT. We found a few cool locations, the first place we stopped at was a fountain then we ended up in an ice cream store in downtown Denver. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding.

Downtown engagement shoots are always my favorites; Stacey and Shawn made it even more fun for me! Shawn has the dip with Stacey perfectly down. Can’t wait to see that dip for the kiss at the ceremony… and maybe again after the first dance? – Shawn, put this on your to do list for the wedding. I’m waiting for you with my camera.

I love taking senior photos; it is so much fun! Did you know that formal senior portraits date back at least to the 1920s? So much has changed since 1920. Erin and I shot her photos at the Red Rocks Amphitheater. I love it when everything comes together in a perfect way: the sun, the light, Erin and the sweet blur of my EF 85/1.2.

Megan and AJ are getting married. Last week I met with them for their engagement shoot. We picked an unusual location: a local bookstore in Denver. It was so much fun, I can’t wait to shoot their wedding.
